Hello I just found you as I was scrolling through market place and I also have interest in the things you appear to be doing. I have been doing a lot of reading and video watching for the last six months or more(a lot of Richard Perkins, Curtis Stone, and Joe Salatin, also Living Traditions Homestead). Regenerative agriculture is pretty cool and really makes you think about what you are doing so that your ground will take care of you once it is taken care of.  Looking forward to watching and contributing as i am able on this forum as you are pretty local to me too which I really like.

Welcome to the Grass Fed It forum Andy! Those are all great resources you listed and its awesome to hear your enthusiasm towards regenerative ag! Knowing that you are building soil, leaving the land better than you found it and positively impacting the planet is very fulfilling. Are you currently farming or looking to get into farming?

@grassfedit Trying to get our own little slice of rural Iowa. We currently live on almost an acre in town and the last few years have had 4H show Sheep and lambs at a friend/neighbors close by but their barn burned and we lost all of our stock since we had everything shut up in the barn. Middle of lambing in February was keeping the babies warm. Learned the importance of not only making sure your equipment in the barn is up to snuff but also the power coming to the barn evidently needed attention. But we live and learn tomorrow is another day!

@mml10183 Wow, sorry to hear that! That is a tough pill to swallow!  I call those kinds of issues growing pains.  They hurt for awhile and they slow you down, but the don't stop you from growing.  I also started with nothing but a dream.  Persistence and patience is the key!  Good Luck!
